BMW E30 320iS left hand drive, made for the Italian and Portuguese
markets only. Limited
production to provide the equivalent to the UK/German 325i sport but with a
de-stroked `s14' m3 engine of 1990cc to avoid heavy taxation.
BODY
Strengthened and gusseted inner wings, OMP roll cage, front strut brace, strengthened anti-roll bar mounts, fibreglass bonnet, boot inner skin removed, aluminium fuel tank, all sound proofing and underbody sealant removed, everything not required removed, unnecessary wiring removed, z3m rear tower reinforcements, perspex side and rear windows, air cond. removed, m-tec kit removed, spare wheel well removed, fire walled, hand held and plumbed in extinguishers, competition seats and 6 point harnesses, intercom, front chassis brace and sumpguard, early warning systems, oil pressure gauge, voltmeter, RAC log book, henna red, competition weight: 1000 Kg.

Idle control valve and air flow meter removed, Carbon plenum, K&N element, Maxx-Automotive Alpha-n programmable ECU, hard lined fuel pipes in-car, braided in engine and boot, aluminium Fuel Tank Capacity 12 gallons with sump, gravity fed Bosch motorsport pump, Mercedes 450slc fuel filter, super unleaded fuel.
TRANSMISSION
2007 Spec.
Getrag 265 sport 5-speed, race ratio gearbox with dogleg first gear, gear ratios: 1st: 2.33:1; 2nd: 1.68:1; 3rd: 1.33:1; 4th: 1.15:1; 5th: 1:1. additional Bruvsmotorworks 3rd gearbox mount, Standard clutch cover with 228 mm heavy duty centre plate. Different differentials dependent on venue, standard diff casings used with 4.45:1 and 5.125:1 ratios, standard plate limited slip differential modified by specialist with more preload and extra friction plates fitted, z3m rear casing bush.

Standard equipment 320iS (and M3) Getrag 265 sport 5-speed, close ratio gearbox with dogleg first gear, gear ratios: 1st: 3.72:1; 2nd: 2.40:1; 3rd: 1.77:1; 4th: 1.26:1; 5th: 1:1. additional Bruvsmotorworks 3rd gearbox mount, Standard clutch cover with 228 mm heavy duty centre plate. Different differentials dependent on venue, standard diff casings used with standard 3.46:1 CW&P replaced with 3.91:1 to 4.45:1 ratios, standard plate limited slip differential modified by specialist with more preload and extra friction plates fitted, z3m rear casing bush.
