BRUV's are a combination of would be car restorer versus banger racer.  BRUV's started rallying with a Group 2 Talbot Sunbeam rebuilt to modern day rally specifications with 165 Bhp high torque unleaded engine.  Much fun and results were had until it got a nasty bang on the head.  Looking for a rear wheel drive replacement in this era of front drive shopping carts pointed us towards a BMW 320iS dragged all the way from Italy.  Parts availability is excellent and we thought we would be different and use our experience and knowledge to prepare a reasonably priced tarmac rally car driven from the correct end. We are "garagistes" and fit our hobby in around our families and work. Here's some of our tales and experiences.
